    Triammonium Trimetaphosphimate Monohydrate

    Get PDF
Crystals of triammonium cyclo-tri-μ-imido-triphosphate monohydrate, (NH4)3(PO2NH)3.H20, are composed of three ammonium cations, a trimetaphosphimate anion with a chair conformation and a water molecule per asymmetric unit. A three-dimensional network is formed by N--H...O and O--H...O hydrogen bonds

    Tetraammonium Tetrametaphosphimate Tetrahydrate

The tetrametaphosphimate ring in the title compound, (NH4)4+(PO2NH)4-.4H2O exhibits a chair conformation. The tetrametaphosphimate rings are linked by N-HO bonds forming columns along [100]. These columns are interconnected by O-HO and N-HO hydrogen bonds through water molecules and ammonium ions. All H atoms are involved in hydrogen bonding

The trimetaphosphimate anion (PO2NH)33- in trisodium cyclo-tri--imidotriphosphate monohydrate, Na3(PO2NH)3.H2O, exhibits a chair conformation. Two trimetaphosphimate rings are linked to each other by six N-HO hydrogen bonds forming pairs. These units are interconnected by O-HO hydrogen bonds through water molecules forming columns

Government and Social Media: A Case Study of 31 Informational World Cities

Social media platforms are increasingly being used by governments to foster user interaction. Particularly in cities with enhanced ICT infrastructures (i.e., Informational World Cities) and high internet penetration rates, social media platforms are valuable tools for reaching high numbers of citizens. This empirical investigation of 31 Informational World Cities will provide an overview of social media services used for governmental purposes, of their popularity among governments, and of their usage intensity in broadcasting information online.Comment: In Proceedings of the 47th Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (pp. 1715-1724). Arbeitsmarkt Informationswirtschaft (The labour market of the information sector)

    Get PDF
"The information sector is understood as the entire branch of information system services and the corresponding company-internal function in business enterprises and authorities. There are no figures available on the volume of the information sector labour market. Experts' estimations were gathered both from western German managers in industrial enterprises (N = 2,016) and from German information system specialists (N = 352) as to the present and expected medium-term employment prospects of this 'occupation of the future'. According to the estimations of the industrial managers, on the whole graduates in information systems technology do not currently have good job prospects in German industry. In the medium-term, however, the employment prospects increase rapidly in the secondary sector. The present labour market situation is judged more positively by information system specialists employed in industry than it is by the managers interviewed. In the medium term the judgments are similar. Businesses in the service sector already have a high need for graduates in information systems technology. In the medium term the situation on the labour market for information systems graduates will improve by far according to the estimations of the information system specialists. An overproportionally high demand for graduates in information systems technology is signalised in the tertiary sector. Very small service enterprises (1-19 employees) have an extremely high demand for information systems graduates." The Information Service Evaluation (ISE) Model

Information services are an inherent part of our everyday life. Especially since ubiquitous cities are being developed all over the world their number is increasing even faster. They aim at facilitating the production of information and the access to the needed information and are supposed to make life easier. Until today many different evaluation models (among others, TAM, TAM 2, TAM 3, UTAUT and MATH) have been developed to measure the quality and acceptance of these services. Still, they only consider subareas of the whole concept that represents an information service. As a holistic and comprehensive approach, the ISE Model studies five dimensions that influence adoption, use, impact and diffusion of the information service: information service quality, information user, information acceptance, information environment and time. All these aspects have a great impact on the final grading and of the success (or failure) of the service. Our model combines approaches, which study subjective impressions of users (e.g., the perceived service quality), and user-independent, more objective approaches (e.g., the degree of gamification of a system). Furthermore, we adopt results of network economics, especially the "Success breeds success"-principle

Giving and Following Recommendations on Video-on-Demand Services

This is an empirical paper about giving, receiving and following recommendations on Video-on-Demand (VoD) services, including results on gender-specific differences. Based upon a model for infor-mation behavior on VoD services, we applied an online survey and generated 1,258 valid question-naires from active VoD users. Participants receive recommendations from the systems once a week on average, but they follow them only occasionally. They give actively recommendations to other people sever-al times a month. Users do not receive recommenda-tions from other users as often as from the services (only several times a month); however, they follow those personal recommendations more often. The most important source for receiving personal rec-ommendations is face-to-face communication. Obvi-ously, VoD users follow personal recommendations from other people more than suggestions from algo-rithmically generated recommender systems. Besides, self-determined content selection following intrinsic motivation is important. The findings are of interest for research on digital and social media and for VoD services
